A "suspicious package" for Obama cause motivation in Germany

A large police mobilization caused today a "suspicious package" that was delivered to the hotel where he hosted the Democratic candidate for U.S. presidency, Barack Obama, who is visiting Beijing. Bernhard Schodrowski, German police spokesman, said Hotel Adlon was evacuated after a taxi driver delivered a package at the Reception for Obama, who arrived a few hours to visit the country. The fear that this will be a bomb alerted the hotel staff who immediately contacted police, who ordered the deployment of dozens of troops to the scene and explosives experts and sniffer dogs, police said. Schodrowski not say whether the Illinois senator was in the hotel at the time of the operation or was informed of what happened, but said it was all a hoax and that the contents of the package turned out to be a book. German police are alert amid fears that the U.S. senator is a target of attack during the speech to be delivered this afternoon at the Victory Column, where there was an incident yesterday also mobilized the security forces. Authorities arrested Wednesday afternoon a man who came to Berlin screaming historical monument carrying a bomb, which turned out to be a pot of pink paint, I toss on the square of the column in protest. The presence of Obama on the Victory Column has generated since a few weeks ago in Germany much controversy and criticism for letting the government give a speech at the historic monument.
I read this in the news paper of Argentina.
