Not new ...

I don't think this will be completely relevant but it's fine if we start creating conscience in every mexican. After making the "Indice de Percepción de Corrupción en México" by Transparencia Internacional, corruption in our country got worst comparing it with 2008. I think that the majority are tired of this kind of acts that attempt against us and our economy. Specialists said that the cause of this problem are factors as the weakness of institutions and the lack of one politic of state.

The director from Transparencia Mexicana, Eduardo Bohórquez, said that one of the reasons is that in the international perspective crime and drug trafficking, but mainly the lack of transparence. He also said that is disappointing how this problem is in the national agenda but is not taken serious by the nation. Specialists said that this study shows that the State, the legal system and the government are far from representing the society.

It's definitely ridiculous how anyone do something to solve this; how can we explain that Chapo Guzmán or Carlos Slim are more powerful that the proper president or the PGR? The only answer is corruption.

China - Tibet

As we recently saw in class, the relation between China and Tibet has never been good. I was reading this article about how the government from China murdered two men from Tiben because they participated in some "disturbing" acts one year ago in the region of himalaya. A few days ago China rejected some critics that the European Union realized; China just said that they warned the EU to stay out of their business. Pekin is accusing Dalai Lama to stop every independentist manifestation from Tibet, he just denies it and says that they're just asking for regional autonomy for Tibet.
China said that these two man caused 21 deaths and their security forces just caused 1 death. Althoug, the Tibetan government declares that in the exile more than 200 tibetans were murdered in the chinese represion after the disturbes. Is interesting how China is still refusing to accept this deal and consider Tibet as a property with no rights, no freedom, no liberty of doing what they really want.

More dead people

We should do something to avoid violence in every country of the world; we're used to see how innocent people is dying every single day. I heard about these two bomb cars that were in the downtown of Bagdad, near the government offices. At least 147 people died because of this terrorist attack and more that SEVEN HUNDRED were seriously injured. Even though the prime minister said that they were working on security; they stopped traffic near the government office, these attacks are still a huge problem for countries. I also read about another bomb car that exploded in a Pakistan's market, were more than 100 people died and 200 are seriously injured too. My question is: How manuy of these attacks are we going to see to start doing something? I know there are lots of people who give their life or put their selves in a great risk to try to help these countries, but it's just not enough. Violence has no excuse and every country has to do something to solve this; I just wonder what do we need to do?

Coup d'État

I recently read this article about Honduras, where it says that last friday an agreement was reached between the facto regime for the restoration of democracy. Hillary Clinton gave her opinion: "I cannot think of another example of a country in Latin America that ... overcame such a crisis throug negotiation and dialogue." Hopefully this will turn out to be true.
The agreement states: "The decision the national cogress adopts should establish a basis for achieving the social peace, political tranquility and democratic governability the society requires and the country needs."
What I found really interesting from this issue is that president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya asked today for United States' support. Zelaya's restitution is now in hands of the Congress; he declared that "know they're trying to recognize the elections without reverting the Coup d'État nor resolving the deep crisis that our country is facing."

Fun fact:
Fidel Castro accused Obama of "despising" Latin America. The Cuban leader condemned the militar agreement signed between the White House and Colombia and the militar coup at Honduras. "This hemisphere have never been treated with such depise", he expresed.

Never again!

David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party and Leader of the Opposition in the United Kingdom, has said "never again" to powers that are being transferred from the UK to Brussels without a referendum. I read this article from BBC news and I found it very interesting because he recently outlined his new european policy and he said that all future treaties would be put to a public vote. I think this is a great new reform because citizens should be capable of taking decisions from their countries. He also promised a sovereignity bill if the tories win the next election; what he wants to assure is that they'll lock in the supremacy. What Mr. Cameron and his new policies are trying to create is to abandon a pledge to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, this is coming to grow in December 1st.
"I did not promise a referendum come what may, because once the Lisbon Treaty becomes law there is nothing people cand do about it." He then added: "I recognise there are some who, now that we cannot have a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, want a referendum on something else... anything else.
"But I just don't think it's right to concoct some new pretext for a referendum simply to have one for the sake of it."
People has to know why treaties are being processed, what is their goverment working on. Is important to cover any future attempt to take Britain into the European single currency.
What Mr.Cameron is doing is very helpful for citizens, what he is attempting to do is to make a commitement with people.

If Japan dominates the future...

Japan, a powerful country. Organize country, technologic country, rich country, powerfull country, etc. With this characteristics Japan for sure is consider one of the powerful countries. The U.S. has been at the top for may years and for sure they like this idea. Maybe with this crisis it has gone down, but still is a powerfull country. Sometimes I think that Japan is more powerful than U.S..If Japan rises its economy, technologies, power, etc., it will be a clear difference between Japan and U.S.. The U.S. will want power again. This makes me think that maybe this country want war to win power again. In the otherside, maybe the U.S. will be scare of Japan. If the U.S. wants power, this will be related with realism. They want to go fighting for power and competition. So, what will happen if Japan dominates the future?
