AFRICA AND AIDS
This summer i went to south africa, and among all the new things i saw in this beautiful country, i saw something that really impressed me, AIDS. One of the days i was driving in the highway with my dad and suddenly thousands and thousands of crosses appeared in the highway side, they had a bunch of sand above them and a lot of branches and trash around, it looked like a cemetery but could this be? Would some one show this behavior toward dead people? How could they possily throw people into that cemetery? But it was a cemetery and not a regular one, it was an aids cemetery, i was told that hundreds of africans die daily of aids in that area, so they cant and dont have the time to make a formal ceremony for them, or money to make a descent tomb for them so they just make a hole and put their body in there. It is sad to see this, very sad, you would never like to finish like this. Lets take concience of what we have in our country or what we dont have, what would it be different in other countries or what messures we would had to take if we lived in a country like south africa.
I didnt took pictures of this, it wasnt a good idea for me, beside i felt very bad in that moment to think in taking pics, but here is a photo i found.:
