As I read the blog I was remembering previous classes and one doubt came into my head. How different would my life had been if I had lived in time of war, let's say World War I? And yet how much more different it would have been if I were American, French or even German and I HAD to fight for my country? So I searched for info or memoires from WW1 and found a very interesting article that describes the life in the trenches. This article really paints a live, but not pretty, image of a trench. Yes, we all know from our history lessons that life in trenches were conquered by death, and that it was a not-so-good life, but for example: did you know about a popular medical condition that trench men suffered, which eventually led to feet amputation? Or about the rat infestation of trenches? Not only did soldiers had to live among carcasses but they also saw how the rotten bodies of their dead comrades were slowly devoured by rats. The webpage also offers a lot of information from WW1, everything you need is found there; it is really good. Hope it helps.

As I read this I tried to figure out what was worse; to know that someone can blow your head with a rifle or to know that one day you can wake up and see that a rat is eating your foot.
As i read the article I could feel all that those guyys suffered so i hope I´m never in that situation.
They say that an image is worth more than a thousand words. That's why I'm posting the link to the archives of the Ottawa War Museum, where there's an online exhibition of photographs illustrating life at the Fronts. I actually had the opportunity of visiting this museum, and it also had a permanent exhibition of life at the trenches which I enjoyed very much. Here's the link:

How would this change our life, our way of living, our goverment, family, i cant even stop thinking of how this bomb would had affected me and my surroundings, i thank god for leaving in HERMOSILLO for this, it is clear that living in a powerfull country also has is problems. look at this video please, and take reflection of what this caused.
