After what my parents and other family members told me, the time of the Berlin Wall were very ruff times.Family, and friends got separated and the Wall had a very sad and cold effect on the people living on both sides of the wall. Now when they destroyed the wall, people could not belief it, and many of them had a tough time to get used to the liberty they had back again. My grandfather told me once that he had friends living in Berlin, and once the wall was destroyed they left the city and never came back because they were so afraid the same drama could happen one more time. So we can just imagine what kind of shock it was when they had the wall separating the people, the families and the near friends. Many people got killed or killed them self s because they tried to get to the other side. It is very understandable, imagine they make a wall between you and the people you love the most in the world and you may never see them again, but you know that there are just there, just on the other side of the wall, but you can't reach them, you can't even rite them leters. Wouldn't it be frustrating?

This is a good video describing the fall of the Berlin wall to unite West and East Germany, we can see in this video how people of both sides felt (frustration, fear, unsecured) when they were divided and then when the wall was broken (happy, united, peacefull, etc). Here is a good video that tell us in a very good and real way how was this moment.
