Here's a short but interesting animation on the advantages that the creation of the European Union has brought on members and non-members--the unification of Europe, the elimination of tension between countries, a unified market, the accepted currency, etc.
The video is very dynamic because it was meant for children. The content is not complicated, what I would advise is to read the comments on YouTube on the video. There are several people of different nationalities portraying their different points of view on not just the video, but also and mainly on the US involvement on world issues.
