After the give and take in the Congress, the federal government was "winner", in particular the "secretaria de hacienda", as the congress approved budget revenues were nearly 7 billion higher than originally proposed dependence .
The 2010 Revenue Act provides for total resources approved by 3 trillion 179 billion pesos, compared to 3 trillion 172 billion of the original initiative.
According to "secretaria de hacienda" figures, these resources will finance increased public spending in the history of the country.
Additional resources will be obtained primarily from Value Added Tax (IVA),additional income from oil rights and derivatives of financing, according to a comparison of the two proposals.
Only the estimated recovery of the IVA will additional 30 billion, 6.8 percent more than originally planned in the project executive, while on duty shall get 9 percent more than in the original initiative.
The income from federal government debt will be capped at 360 billion pesos, more than 63 billion above the original plan submitted.
