The "Zimmerman Telegram"

As we discussed briefly in class in The Great War (WW1) the Germans wanted to make an agreement with México , in this agreement it was stated that Germany will give the lost territories of México specifically New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona if México joins the German cause,The Zimmerman telegram was a secret communication from German Foreign Minister Arthur Zimmerman to the German Minister to Mexico, von Eckhardt. This telegram was not succesful because the British intercepted it.

Just imagine what would happened, if the British couldnt intercept this telgram, how would the Great War turned, would México have right now those territories?, would Germany won the war?
