Hi everybody, I was reading the posts of my classmates in this blog and I notice that in one of them they talked about the actual relations between Germany and the U.S. That take my attention and curiosity so I decided to investigate more about it. So I did, and what I found was really something I didn't expected.

The values given are for Imports and Exports added together. These Countries represent 65.24% of U.S. Imports, and 61.92% of U.S. Exports in goods.

Canada 35.11 200.89
China 29.53 163.83
Mexico 24.56 138.44
Japan 11.71 67.47
Federal Republic of Germany 8.66 53.88
United Kingdom 7.95 44.53
Korea, South 5.66 31.82
France 5.50 30.56

Brazil 3.88 21.35

So as we can see Mexico is just behind Canada and China. This thanks maybe to the NAFTA which has become a broad mechanism that focuses on trade, agriculture, security, clean energy, the well-being of citizens and climate change. Last month the leaders of US, Canada and Mexico met at Guadalajara to discuss mainly about the NAFTA future.
