Mexico and the European Union, mutually need each other.


Mexico ranks 26th among EU trade partners and 16th amongst its export partners. The EU is Mexico's second biggest export market after the USA. Since the 2000, Mexico and the European Union have a trade agreement. The EU-Mexico Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is one of the most comprehensive in the global economy. It covers trade in goods and services, markets, competition, intellectual property rights and investment.
Mexico exports minerals, machinery, electric equipment, transport equipment and photo instruments.
The European Union exports machinery, electric equipment, transport equipment, chemical products and minerals.
Finally, we can say that the European Union influence a lot the mexican economy, as also Mexico influence the EU economy. Mexico and EU mutually need each other.
