Globalization Problems

In class we saw and heard many good things about globalization, how is it connecting the countries, how easy is it now to communicate among internet or webs like facebook, trading, etc. But is globalization the key to success and development of countries, in my point of view we are forgetting a very important thing in globalization and it is important to mention. We are talking about sharing, trading, communicating, BUT WHAT? ideas, believes, costumes, resources, but is this good or bad? what about originality? what about the history of each country, its costumes, its believes? are all this things going to be universal? we are loosing all this things as we gobalize too, this summer i went to south africa and they told me they had better KFC (Kentucky fried chicken) than USA, is this possible? Lets think about this too, there's a lot of things we hear but it is necessary to analyze the terms we are using too to understand what globalization is deeply talking about.
