The European Union is an economic and political union of 27 countries, mostly from Europe. It was established was formally established with the Treaty of Maastricht on November 1st, 1993.
The EU has developed a single market, which this means that they “removed” the physical borders, standards and taxes among the countries or member states. The system of laws applies to each member state goods, services and capital. It also maintains trade of agriculture, fisheries and regional development.
